What a Wacko!

Addie got a baby set for Christmas which includes the stroller, car seat that converts to many things, and a pack n play. Well, Addie seems to understand that all the other items are for the dolls except the pack n play. She is constantly squeezing herself into it. Yesterday the kids were downstairs playing with all of the lights off. When I came down and turned them on, Kyler wanted them back off because he said Addie was laying down for her nap in the dolls pack n play!

The Lights at Temple Square

Last night finally went down to Temple Square to see the lights. The kids both enjoyed it. Although I have to admit, Kyler was more fascinated with playing with the snow.

Christmas

We had such a fun Christmas with family and friends!  The kids had a blast opening presents from Santa.  The first thing Kyler noticed was Addie's mini.  It took her a minute.  Once she realized it was there, she did not want to get off!  Kyler said he knew Santa was going to get me all that stuff because I asked him for it.  Last night we got lots of snow so we decided to go out and build a snowman.  Well, the snow was just powder as is the cause a lot in Utah.  Great for skiing, not so great for snowmen.  So instead, Dan decided to build a snow cave which we all had a blast playing in!  I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas too!

Our Gingerbread House

This year we made our own gingerbread house. I usually just buy one from the store. After judging our neighbors contest, I decided it would be more fun to make our own. Being the awesome neighbors that they are, they let us use their recipe and laminated guides! We had so much fun! Our friend Brandi came over and helped too. Kyler had a blast decorating it and Addie had a blast decorating the table with icing (and eating it too!)

Christmas Sunday

At our church, the Christmas program is always the Sunday before Christmas. We always get the kids Christmas outfits to wear for Sunday and Christmas. Kyler even let me spike his hair today so he could look all special because the primary kids always sing a few songs in the program. Kyler is our little singer at times we could even hear him and we were all the way in the back!

Decorating the Tree

For the last few years we have been putting up two trees. We bought a huge one a couple of years ago that we put in our living room. We also had a really small one that we put in the family room. Well this year, I decided I really missed having a real tree. So we went out in a snow storm on Saturday morning to buy a tree for the family room. Kyler loves to help decorate it. He helped with the other one too while Addie took off the decorations. This time she decided she was more interested in posing for the camera than undecorating the tree. This tree is fun it is our random tree with all the ornaments that we have collected over the years. The only downfall to the real tree is a have to keep the dog from drinking the water out of it!

Mini Christmas Lunch

On Saturday the mini car club had a Christmas lunch. We have enjoyed getting to know all the other car owners. We went down to Gateway mall and ate at Tocanos. We had a white elephant gift exchange which is always fun to see the random things that people come up with! It was fun to get together during this time of year!

Family Time!

Last week we went up to Idaho to see Dan's mom. They live in Rathdrum which is up at the tip by Coeur D Alene. It is always a really realxing trip up there which is a fun change for us! We spent our time just hanging out with the family! Kyler and Addie got to play with their cousins Serenity and Kolby. Kyler enjoyed playing with Serenity and the time he spent with grandma and grandpa. One night we went over to lake Coeur D Alene to see the Christmas lights. Dan and I also got to go on a date thanks to Robyn and Ed! It is always fun to be around family! Thanks for letting us visit!
