Here Come the Police

Our cousin Mitch (or uncle Mitch to the kids) is now a police officer for SLCPD. He got his car a little while ago. Kyler has been so excited to go and see it. Mitch even let him talk into the microphone thing. Although it was more like yelling into it. They both thought the car was the coolest thing. Neither one of them wanted to get out of the car. Thanks Uncle Mitch for making their day!

Playing with Cousin Brooklyn

Aunt Jenny and cousin Brooklyn came to visit us last month. The kids had a blast together. They get along so well. We were sad to see them go. But the memory of Brooklyn lives on in our house every morning when the kids watch Super Why.

Expanding our House

Big news in the Madsen house! After a couple struggles last year, we are having a baby!!! I am 12 weeks along. I have already had 4 ultrasounds and one sonogram. See the treatment you get after you have a few problems. Everything is good. We had another appointment today and our sonogram. It is so awesome and calming to hear that little heart beating. We are so excited. We don't really care if it is a boy or a girl. Although I feel like it is a girl. I am also always wrong and not just about myself. So we will see there is a first time for everything. First trimester is over just hoping to get over the morning sickness soon.
