Poor Addie!

Yesterday Addie fell while her and Kyler were playing on a friend's trampoline. She wouldn't walk but was pretty relaxed after the initial shock wore off. So, we gave it to this morning and when she still wasn't on her feet, we took her in for an x-ray. She fractured her tibia and had to get a cast. She has been such a trooper! She hasn't even cried very much. The doctor says it might take her a few days but she should start to walk on it. She will be in her pretty purple cast for three and a half weeks. Once we got home she mostly just layed around watching Elmo. Then our sweet neighbors the Ivins came over with treats and an awesome poster that the kids made for her. I promise Addie liked the poster, she was just sick of all of the pictures!

Glued

Rosie and Seth, our neighbors, came over to play yesterday. Both of our families love the High School Musical series. They decided they wanted to watch it. All four of them were glued to the tv while I finished dinner. They are so cute! Kyler is even wearing a basketball uniform so that he can pretend he is Troy!

Draper Temple

Today we went as a family to the Draper temple open house. Whenever we are near a temple, Kyler always wants to know why he can't go inside. So we were so excited to be able to show him what the inside of a temple is like. The kids were so reverant! Which if you ever came to church with us, you would know they can be loud! Kyler has been saying for the last little while that he wants to get married in the Bountiful temple were Dan and I got married. After walking through the Draper temple, he has decided he wants to get married there instead. It was fun to be able to experience something like that with our kids.

Valentines Day

The kids and I made cupcakes on Friday. Kyler picked out the cake and helped me make it. He also decided he wanted to make chocolate frosting. We all had fun making them and eating them! We had a good relaxing Valentine's Day. We went to Kyler's basketball game in the morning. Kyler made another basket! Then in the afternoon, Dan and I went to the spa. We ate dinner at Barbacoa with the kids and Brock and Natalie. It was a fun and relaxing day.

Monkey See Monkey Do!

As I have mentioned before, Addie loves to do everything Kyler is doing. This morning, Kyler was writing out his Valentine's card for his preschool party tomorrow. Addie decided she needed to write some out too. Last night we realized it isn't just Kyler she likes to copy. Our friends came over last night to watch 24 and Addie was crawling on the floor right behind Syd. It was so cute! Addie is such a silly girl!

Addie's Hair

This post is for my mother who hasn't seen Addie since June. All the pictures I post on here show how long her hair is from the front. It is so much longer in the back and we have already cut it once. Now I only wish I could get the front and the back to be one length!

Craft Time

Here is a our Valentine's craft. Kyler loves to do crafts and Addie loves to do everything Kyler is doing. They both enjoyed playing with the glitter glue pens. Kyler loves that we have put all the hearts up in the house as decoration. Stay tuned for our baking project later this week!

The Car Ride

Just thought I would add these photos from our trip. This is how the kids spent the whole road trip, staring at the tv screen. Our kids did awesome on the way to San Fran, to Disneyland and back home. They were so well behaved in the car thanks to our tv's.

Our Big Trip

Dan had a meeting to go to at the Shaklee home office right outside of San Francisco. We decided to make it a family road trip. We even went to the home office one day with Dan. The kids had fun playing in Dr. Shaklee's chair, desk, and posing by a huge vitamin bottle. Since we were so close to San Fran, we spent a couple of days there once Dan was done with all of his meetings. San Fran was followed by a trip down to Disneyland. The kids had a blast! Dan suprised us with a helicopter ride over the bay! It was so awesome!! Kyler and Addie both loved Disneyland. Addie would stop and get so excited anytime she saw anything Minnie Mouse. Kyler loved going on all of the rides. Thanks Dan for such a fun trip!!
